  2. Huma M.A3 in the Ist chap sir you introduced "yellow signal colored book" as complete container which include the complelte set of curriculum and teachers are limited to follow the same book. Sir your statement " breaking the boundary of this book is courgeous step" because you are also restricted to use the same book and you are helpless to do that.. In this chap the are some questions for reader which are easily understandable for the reader.

    1. Yes, Humma you got the point. In this chapter the metaphor of yellow colored book was used to represent a limited view of curriculum as textbook. this particular book was used to guide the teachers to follow strictly that bound the teacher to remain within the boundaries of the book as curriculum to focus...

4.It is totally out dated and less supportive to developed thinking skill of learner out of the box way of undrsand every day life words.

    i. I am Muhammad Siddique MA3rd-A,according to given instruction I have very closely studied your first thesis chapter which is about informative philosophy, where you have discussed about curriculum images, teaching pedagogy and assessment on the based of informative philosophical prospective. In this chapter you have explained informative philosophy very critically with different examples and I also found a unique style in your thesis that you have contextualized content with small stories which is very much helpful for me to properly understand. After studying your first chapter I realized that our whole education system is based on informative philosophy which push our students in lower order thinking so we should must be think about it. So lastly I am saying to thank you very much for giving such type of opportunity to studying and evaluating us in a unique way this is something very much surprising for me in the whole time period of my study in university. (Thank you)

  7. I,Ejaz Ahmed MA3rd-B,I have studies in chapter ones which was about informative pedagogical approach, curriculum image and philosophy. After read these chapters I realized that it is just focused on lower order thinking and content knowledge of students instead of emphazing on high order of students thinking properly. Metaphors of these images have no much appreciable as educational techniques to improve students’ learning efficiency and proficiency clearly. So we have to think beyond these images.

  8. Sir, I, Muhammad Hussain MA3rd-A, I have studied deeply your scholarly articles with great concentration in which information giving through different stories and real life examples that was very wonderful and appreciable. And I like to say about informative curriculum image which just focused on text books with content knowledge as a curriculum that will be harmful for students’ actual involvement with knowledge area of learning as well as this type of curriculum image will not beneficial for students’ to be creative member of the society with creating new world with his own efforts. Further more if I want to say about informative philosophy, philosophies provide way a teacher to deliver knowledge in a proper way and if your philosophy will help for students to promote their thinking skills and change their behavioral aspects of life at that time it will be appreciable one but in this philosophy of teaching just focused on content knowledge with memorization and stuff putting method which is not so better for students to promote their learning proficiencies and efficiencies properly. At last informative assessment, assessments are choose regarding to curriculum and philosophy of teaching, so this type of assessment procedure may be not profitable for students of increasing their problem solving skills and critical thinking skill with treated them as a slave to using on dictatorship of providing knowledge. Man cannot get knowledge and promote his learning performance clearly when he will not give freedom to get information on his own pace that’s why learning environment should be friendly and collaborative (student center learning method will be useful).
(Thank you sir to provide this opportunity)

  9. Mohummad Hussain, i agree with you that without providing freedom to students to share their ideas, and come up with their experiences with their reflections a informative curriculum can not help them to make sense of their education.

Sir you develop this image of curriculum on the based of your experience which you faced in your early year of teaching.SIr I remember when you joined first time university as teacher the assistant of dean gave you a yellow colored book as curriculum,I understand that you have to follow this book willing and unwilling ,because it was curriculum at that time. But sir this is very traditional and conventional image of curriculum which can not engage student in activities . This image fail to create imaginative skills in learners. It was challenging for you sir to change this image because of school culture and other reasons you have already discuss in this chapter. This chapter is all about informative way of teaching. U as a new teacher of computer science your Dean as mentioned in the article entrusted u with some stuff to deliver,it sounds lil bit that it is an informative way of teaching. That u wants to avoid for the sake of bringing better ways of teaching and learning.

I studied chapter 3-A and come up with my understanding of Technical/ Informative/ conventional as.

    Curriculum:

    • As a teacher image of curriculum cultural reproduction.
    • As content. Subject mattered.
    • As textbook (yellow book) (Narrow images)
    • Curriculum whole document

    Pedagogy:

     Teacher centered.
     Bracket open, bracket closed
 Child could not develop new things
     LOT (Remembering, understanding)
     Traditional teaching
     Autocratic
     Dictating
     Never encourage to students
 Beat same sticks with same drum
     Retelling
     Route learning

    Assessment:

     As off learning
 It means that assessment starts when teaching finishes,
 End of unit test, end of semester or end of year test.
 The purpose of this assessment is to promoting next grade level.
     Labeling pass/failed.

I studied chapter 4 and come up with my understanding of Practical/ Modern/ Reformative as.
Initially these chapters were boring for me but my further deep study make these fruitfuli .

    Curriculum:
Curriculum as a social, Cultual reconstruction.
    Contemporary images of curriculum.
    Middle order thinking (applying, analyzng).
    Curriculum as experience.
    Curriculum as Currere.

    Pedagogy:
    Learner Centered Environment.
Teacher engage students on critical thinking.
    Teacher as a facilitator.
    Encourage students, Help students.
    Pedagogies as learning by doing.

    Assessment:
The metaphor used in this assessment is as for learning,in which students get feedback from teachers according to their performance.
Assement is a integral part of teaching and learning process.
focus of Assessment is lerning rather than grades and promotion to next class.
It is very useful approach for both teachers and learners.
It enable learners to (think out of the box).
Reformative assesment not only improve learning but also learners enjoy the process of learning.

Single yellow coloured book sir i feel very glad to study this chapter because this chapter discus about the narrow vision of teachers about curriculum. the teacher and teacher educators having technical interest of education are seeing single coloured book as whole container curriculum which restrict learners.
this type of curriculum give a metaphoric image of curriculum as subject matter, cultural reproduction and discrete task and concepts.
informative curriculum does not address other aspects of learning that learner experiences. this conventional approach is limited to cover the content from single coloured course book.
this approach depicts curriculum as written documents.

    * creation and creativity through this assessment.
    * it is triple or super loop learing.
In this assessment teacher will give feedback and also motivate their students.
This assessment take place during teaching.
    It is post modern assessment.
this assessemnt is based on blooms taxnomy higher oder thinking.

  27. Respected sir Asalam-uo-Alykom
Sir, I,Muhammad Siddique MA3rd-A, today I have studied the second chapter which was about reformative philosophy of education. In this chapter I have understood the basic views of this theory about curriculum, teaching pedagogies and assessment system so after studied I have completely understood these basic phenomena. Firstly I just highlighted three basic views of this philosophy then I will share my personal opinion about this philosophy. Firstly when we talk about curriculum images this philosophy take curriculum as experience, curriculum as construction of knowledge and culture. Second this philosophy suggests to learner cantered pedagogies and lastly this philosophy suggest to formative assessment where teacher assess his students during teaching. So these all things I have understood after then I realized that this philosophy is suitable for our students because this philosophy push our students from lower order thinking to middle and higher order thinking and students also take interest in this philosophy because in this philosophy teacher teaches students according to their needs, demands and interest. This philosophy is not based on just like students memorized the lesson and pass exam because this philosophy focused on process of learning not product and based on division concept of education learning by doing. So when we will teach our students according to reformative philosophy thin we able to get some positive result through whole process of teaching and learning. (Thank you )

  28. I ANDLEEB MA section B I read Chapter 4B Delving into possibly Reflective pedagogy.
    It is formative pedagogy.
Teacher and students both are engged.
    it is double loop learning.
this pedagogy is student centerd pedagogy.
Through this pedagogy students are actively participate in teaching learning process. it is two way learning.
this pedagogy was inspired by john dewey learning theory."learning by doing" or " learning by experince" in our context reformative pedagogy are used in tertiary level and teacher provide opportunity to learner to share experince.

  29. Respected Sir, I farhana bibi MA 3rd sec B Studied chapter 4-A, and came up with understanding of pedagogy of technical interest of education as:
This is Teacher centered approach where students are restricted. Bracket open and bracket closed system is applied do the understanding of students. Child could not develop new things this is lower order thinking level according to blooms taxonomy (LOT i-e Remembering, understanding).it is a traditional teaching approach where teachers act as autocrats and Dictators. in this approach retelling of information takes place . teacher focus on route learning.

  30. sir,i,Mazahir Hussain MA3rd-A,I have tried to study chapter one which was about informative curriculum image, this types of curriculum images just focused on curriculum as discrete tasks and textbook with emphasizing on only lower order thinking level of students thinking beyond of their actual involvement in real life situations to promotion their social, mental, psychological, attitude, behavioral and communal skills of becoming a well citizen of the society. further more it is a kind of teacher-centered and dictatorship method of learning with only on delivering knowledge their memorization.

  31. I,Mitra ali ,MA 3B,studied chapter1 and i found that in this chapter our teacher Dr.sudruddin bahadur qutoshi try to tell informative philosophy of curriculum through his experintial story, from this chapter i understood that the informative philosophy of curriculum is focused on just single cloured text book. this philosophy consider curriculum as content knowledge,
    curriculum as text book ,
curriculum as reproducation of knowledge ,
curriculum as set of discreat task.
This philosophy fall on lower order thinking of bloom taxanomy and its refers to teacher canter and it is only help teachers to deliver content knowledge to the learners. so at the end i can say that this curriculum is not fillfull the needs and demands of learners it's push students in lower order thinking just like remembering and understanding level.(thank you very much sir for giving such type of wonderful and unique oppertunity for assessing and evaluating)

  36. This is Sajid Hussain MA 3rd Sec (A).
Respected Sir I studied chapter 5 and came up with my understanding about Emancipatory/ post-Modern/ Transformative image of educational process, discused in the following.
This has been the nature of human being from the beginning that he understands the concepts easily through stories. Sir you have discussed the concepts of educational process through your journey along with schools.

    Curriculum:

The metaphor of curriculum as montage (Using both conventional and contemporary issues).
The concept of montage can be a unique image of curriculum development
and implementation, such type of curriculum empower learners to be more creative.
Such type of curriculum can enables learners to develop a link between the
knowledge learned in school, college, university with that of their everyday life.
Sir you have used the metaphors to understand the concept of (khudi), to help self and others
Curriculum is awoken well inform, aware of everything

    Pedagogy:

transformative pedagogies must relate both to existing conditions
and to something we are trying to bring into being,
something that goes beyond a present situation.
pedagogist plays his/her role as a critical friend who is not only empathetic towards present
and future needs and demands of learners but also proficient in creating conditions
for learners to behave like critically self-reflective, and potentially creative in their
endeavors through their imaginative engagement with the philosophy of lifelong
    learning as a transformative learners.
    Liberating, enabling, empowering,
Critically and creative approach to teaching
HOT (Evaluating the given information and creating new information)
Create opportunities for learners to became free from imposition
    Encourage without any pressure

    Assessment:

Transformative assessment is an inclusive and holistic approach of learning.
It is inclusive because it demand for all forms of assessment and it is holistic because it
    covers every aspect of learning
Multiple-integrated ways to Assessment as” through “learning approaches.
It can lead learners to experience their learning through process of their own assessment.
The transformation mode seems offering multiple innovative ways to assessment where learner would be assessed on real life situational performance.
It is a holistic endeavor to assessment as through learning.
It can be an effective approach with its inclusive-holistic and artistic nature.
This transformation mode seems offering multiple innovative ways to assessment where learner would be assessed based on real life situational performance (an assessment that makes sense to learners’ real life cases which s/he can understand what that question/assessment task means rather answering a rote learning of text to reproduce in exams).
It can be an effective approach with its inclusive-holistic and artistic nature. It is a process of learning (rather a product in the form of marks obtained) that enable learners to develop their capacity through critical self/others reflections on their learning at multiple levels of their educative endeavors.

  37. I Andleeb MA 3rd section B i read chapter 5b Accounting for possibly reformative assessment.
I understand that reformative assesment is also known as formtive assessment.
This assessment is not for grading and scoring purpose its for only learning knowledge.
The metaphor of reformative assessment is as for learning.
In this assessment teacher also give feedback to their students for their motivation.
Reformative assessment is reproduction of knowledge with drilling and practice.
*This assessment is effective for both learner and teacher.
    *Pupils (learners) should be fouced.
    * classroom practice are also fouced.
*Through this assessment students should also motivated.
*This assessment is modern assessment because teacher fouced all the needs and demands of students.
*This assessment fouced middle level of thinking like applying and analyzing.

  46. Sir, I, Ejaz Ahmed MA3rd-B, with deeply study about reformative philosophy of learning I beg to say that the nature of this philosophy is totally distinguish from informative ones because in this area of learning, general focus is to as possible as something progress in developmental dimensions of students with using of different useful and fruitful strategies and techniques to promote their real life experiences and qualities of decision making skills. In this regard, the curriculum images will be according to needs, interests, feelings and demands of the learners onto emphasizing content knowledge with problem solving approaches rather than topical approaches which will be profitable of enhancing their critical thinking and creative performances properly. Furthermore the sole purpose is to develop social, psychological, communal, personal skills of students accordingly. Pedagogy and assessment system look like just curriculum image in which feedbacks and guidelines are giving throughout whole teaching journey to bring students real realistic dimensions of life.
(Thank You sir to provide this wonderful opportunity)

  47. Sir, I, Muhammad Hussain MA3rd-A, after studied about reformative philosophy of learning I like to suggest that the word reformative is derived from the word “reform” which shows to something change in behavioral, social, academical, cultural, communal and mental aspects of learners’ learning proficiency with engaging them in a meaningful and fruitful learning environment of providing them free of getting knowledge with their own experience and effort. Curriculum image of this philosophy is emphasized to develop as possible as high performance of students’ academic levels of achievement to relating content knowledge with their actual and factual real life situations properly. Students can freely and friendly involve into learning environment with promoting critical and individualized learning skills by purpose to become a remarkable citizen and member of the society. In this regard, the essence of curriculum to get best possible outcomes of students social as well as academicals dimensions of life with using on student centered and problem solving based teaching strategies and methods properly. Pedagogy and assessment system also will remarkable and profitable through focusing on above mentioned dimensions of learning efficiencies clearly with great concentration without any difficulty.

I am M siddique to day I have read the last chapter which is about transformative philosophy of education. In this chapter I have understood that this is postmodern philosophy of education it based on higher order thinking level of the learners. Its based on as through learning in transformative philosophy teacher use both informative and reformative philosophy that’s why we can say that its an inclusive philosophy of education. In transformative philosophy of education the starting point of assessing and learning is equal and same .The main focus of transformative philosophy is empower the thinking and creating power of the students its not just like memorize the lesson and passed exam its based on creation power of the learners. Transformative philosophy of education take both activates and content in curriculum. Transformative philosophy based on two way teaching and learning. In transformative philosophy of education students are very much serious about their study thy are partner of teacher, so provide different opportunity for students to self-correction and self-assessment and in this philosophy teacher allow students to go beyond the given content foe farther development.
 Some important key points of transformative philosophy of education are following

    • Transformative assessment based on triple loop learning
    • Its process of as through learning
    • Its inclusive type of philosophy
    • Its main purpose to empower the thinking level of the learners and make them able to create some things according to their own ways
    • Its push learners higher order thinking
So these all things I have understood after study this chapter and according to me this philosophy is very much suitable for our students so as teacher we should be follow transformative philosophy of education in our teaching process for the bright future of our new generation.

    I am samina babar Ma1 group (A) ...sir, i studied the chapter 4C, and I come to know that;
The conventional method of learning and teaching of our society create hurdles to directly implement transformative pedagogy in class. It's implementation needs the struggle of ever stakeholder of society, parents, teachers, administration and students to re-organize their thinking regarding the aim and means of education. Which has been only confirmed to a degree transcript.
According to the chapter 4C; it is much difficult to apply transformative way of teaching on children until the students are not motivated and ready for collaborative teaching. Though teacher can use the method, but the outcome will not be positive. So,transformative method requires environment and resources for its implementation .

i learned about traditional way of teaching through one way flow was a kind of didactic learning and teacher center learning was discussed.
This kind of teaching approche pushed students to adopt a learning strategy in teaching and resultantly students were forced towards rote memorization and reproduction of information that teacher delivered. We know understanding and memorization is lower order thinking . students are passive learners they just listen the teachers. I came to realize that reproduction of knowledge through informing padagogies seems outdated and less supportive to develop thinking skill of the learners out of the box ways to understand every day life .

The pedagogy is student centered and students are active learners. The practice of this method will develop critical thinking abilities in students. 87. Sir, IAM AFTAB ALAM M.A IST-A I have studied the whole chapter which is about curriculum as yellow coloured book as a source of knowledge. Due to this philosophy teacher bound the student to focused only one book. Students is totally ignored, teacher's used LOT of Bloom's taxonomy, where remembering and understandig is focused. This type of philosophy is not suitable for students because they can not share their ideas and creativity. Assessment is only based on their paper not there knowledge. Teachers use curriculum as reproduction, this type of philosophy and pedagogies as telling and retelling that is not for students learning but just passing the exam. Sir this articals help the students learning that is good opportunity for learners because they have engaged totally in learning process.and achieving and understtandind to increase in our knowledge through different styles of sources regarding as the articles.

Teachers focuse on lower order thinking and just telling, banking and transfaring the knowledge teachers use autocratric style in teaching this is one way process, so students can not create their own.

*in this phillosophy student can develope their thinking and they learn independently
    *this is student centered approach
*students are not bounded and not limited the gain knowledge.
*this is effective approach than conventional intrest of padagogy .

This philosophy empower the thinking level of students that they would be able to make something new on their own ways.
This philosophy focus on triple loop learning (Peter senge).
Methaphor in this philosophy for assessment is "Through Learning"and this is "Emanspatory Interest of education".in future I will prefer to focus this philosophy and I will also try to creat my own philosophy based on post modern philosophy of education.

The main purpose of this philosohy is tha they want to empower the students to think critically and able to create some thing new. In my opion this curriculum and philosophy are very important for the current situation because society is change day to day and it's demands also change. When students are let free than that develop their creativity and also fulfill the demands of the society as well as their personal needs.

    Chap# 5A.
I Zahra Batool MA 3B. In this chap Sir you shared your some precious experience with us. Sir you discuss the practices of assessment driven by an informative curriculum that was passed on teacher educators. Sir you reflect on your own practices and realize that the questions in exams was based on lower order thinking skills and this produce totally level of reproduction and informing. Teacher and students as machine of reproduce the same stuff as they stuffed with notes.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Chap# 5C.
I Zahra Batool MA 3B. In chap 5C assessment as “of” and “for” learning has been discussed with informative and reformative approaches to testing. A teaching approach that values teaching as a prophetic profession and at the same time that inspires learners towards learning rather imposing stuff on learners like teaching as loading on and filling in the mind of learners. Culturally responsive pedagogies would be more appreciative for both teachers (as a sacred- valuable profession and linking their teaching with cultural events) and for learners as more attractive towards knowing that is very much cultural related to what they are used to in that culture and aware of the customs, rituals and ceremonies, to name a few.
Assessment “through” learning is cresting conditions for learners to engage in process of learning with reflections in action and reflection for action without excluding reflections on actions ( Argyris & Schon,1974,108;Punjawani,2013)
Self assessment through web: relationship between teacher and student seems necessary to make educative process inspiring, illuminating and through provoking with critical feedback for power full learning.
The metaphor of assessment as through learning uses tenets of both conventional and contemporary approaches to assessment by integrating them into a process of meaning making innovatively that enable learners to experience learning as an active process of becoming well informed citizenry.

Summative assessment that confined to reproductive of information for grading purpose and formative initiative such as one pager reflective paper and group/peer assessment approach to improve learning.Transformative assessment as "Through holistic learning".tranformative assessment is for teacheing/learning would be a kind of connective thread embedded within a process based - learning outcomes .sir you will discuss another improntant dimension of the transformative assessment by re/conceptualizing assessment as "through "learning the metaphor of assessment as "Through " learning is creating condition for learning with refletionin in action, and reflection for action with out excluding on action.in such asitution the learners seems to be playing the role of a partner to the teacher who is providing ongoing feedback to improve learning .inuch process both teacher and student seems focus on areas for improvement. 134. Respected sir!I chambally from M.A 3rd section (B) I studied the last chapter of your article which is all about transformative philosophy of education and metaphorically called as assessment through learning. According to Peter senge(1995) it is called triple loop based learning. According to William pinar it is called curriculum as currere. According to Blooms it is based on high order thinking .such kind of philosophy is student centred learning philosophy in which students are free to share their ideas . What ever the ideas may be either they are true or false.
It allows students to think out of the box.In sucha kind of philosophy teachers do not ristrected their students in books. They allow them to creat, to construct and to discover. Such kind of philosophy monitoring metacognition. As a future teacher I will apply this philosophy in teaching, learning processes.

I am Huma Batool M.A3.i studied chapter 5A which is conventional image of assessment. In this image metaphor of assessment as "of" learning and it is a summative assessment which is conduct at the end of semester or year. Purpose of this assessment is grading and transfer to next class. It is also known as informative assessment .in this assessment pedagogies are teacher centered and curriculum as reproduction. This type of assessment is use in our educational institutions. Due to this assessment students are not think out of the box.. Teacher focus on "brakect shut up brakect band" ,thy never accept any other answer which is not present in the text book. So it is clear for me this kind of assessment down student's talent and skills.

In this chapter I found that as compare to informative assessment it help in some extend improve teaching and learning. It is student centered approach with collaborative and participative activities in class to improve students learning. In this assessment teachers give feedback for improving students abilities, knowledge and skills.Teachers and student both are active in this process.Teacher facilitate students and students try to generate knowledge with their own.Do this don't do that such type of behavior cannot prepare child for innovative world. This assessment help to prepare learner more creative and critical for their own practices.
Sir your great ideas are very helpful for us to become critical thinkers.

    I Yasmeen,M.A 3rd section B;
Studied chapter 4-c which is "Transformative Pedagogy" in which students are free to do their work and there is no boundries for them.
According to Peter senge this philosophy is tripple loop learning philosophy.
It is inclusive pedagogy in which teachers are giving opportunities to their students to empower their thinking level and this is two way of teaching and learning process in which students fell free from fear and anxiety, teacher creat a friendly environment for learning.
This philosophy of pedagogy emphasizes students critical thinking and as a result they become critical thinkers in future.
This philosophy is the best for those who really want to improve their teaching and learning.
And dear sir your pedagogy is one of the best example of Transformative Pedagogy.
    The main points of this pedagogy are;
    Pedagogy as librating;
    Pedagogy as enabling;
    Pedagogy as empowering;
Critical and creative approach to teaching.
Higher order thinking -evaluating the given information and creating new information.and in last I want to say sir you are doing the same ;focus higher order thinking and alway encourage us to share ideas.God bless you sir.

  146. Respected sir, I Farhana Bibi MA 3rd section B CR
I studied chapter 5, which is about Emancipatory/ post-Modern/ Transformative image of educational
process. Sir in this chapter you have discussed the concepts of educational process through your journey
    along with schools.
Curriculum: The metaphor of curriculum as montage is used in this chapter.
The concept of montage can be a unique image of curriculum development
and implementation, such type of curriculum can enables learners to develop a link between the
knowledge learned in school, college, university with that of their everyday life.
Sir you have used the metaphors to understand the concept of (khudi), to help self and others
Curriculum is awoken well inform, aware of everything
Pedagogy: Transformative pedagogies must relate both to existing conditions
and to something we are trying to bring into being,
something that goes beyond a present situation.
A critical pedagogist engaged learners to critically self-reflection, and potentially creative in their
    endeavors. Liberating, enabling, empowering,
critically and creative approach to teaching. This a higher order thinking level.
Assessment: Transformative assessment is an inclusive and holistic approach of learning.
It is inclusive because it demand for all forms of assessment and it is holistic because it
    covers every aspect of learning.
It can lead learners to experience their learning through process of their own assessment.
The transformation mode seems offering multiple innovative ways to assessment where learner would
be assessed on real life situational performance.
It can be an effective approach with its inclusive-holistic and artistic nature.
It is a process of learning (rather a product in the form of marks obtained) that enable learners to
develop their capacity through critical self-reflections on their learning at multiple levels of their educative endeavors.

The teacher can give positive feedback for student and appreciate them.such type of assessment practice can also help learner to experience in their learning condition. Sir I studied the chapter 3-B which is about "Reformative curriculum".
In this chapter I understood the reformative nature of curriculum as a means for embracing a partial interest of education. (Habermans,1972,Rehg,2009).
Curriculum here is focus how learner will link this knowledge with their every day needs not only in class level but also beyound that level.
Sir you as a teacher educator your thinking to developing a culturally inclusive curriculum by using multiple images rather relying on single image of curriculum as intended learning outcomes is very admirable in your journey.
The very interesting thing about this chapter is "you rised your voice as a reformer, and your conversation with the director is seemed that you worked a lot to reform the curriculum.in this journey you faced very challenged but did not lost the hope and still do hard work and most of the limited minded people were not understand your great view points;as it is says that...
(Naikh Ney Naikh Samja,Badh Ney Badh Jana Mujy,
Jis Ka Jitna Zaraf tha Utna Hi Pehchanna Mujy).

    The key points of reformative nature of curriculum and images are;
    Curriculum as experience (John Dewey);
    Curriculum as social reconstruction;
Curriculum as currere (willium pinnar)in which students are able to ask questions from self and write autography.

  186. Respected Sir;
    I Yasmeen M.A 3rd section B...
I studied chapter 5 which is about "Transformative/post modern/or Emanscipatory interest of education.
    Curriculum as mosac.
The very interesting thing I found in this chapter is that the methaphor of curriculum as "Montage".
At the very begging of this chapter I didn't understand the word montage and honestly speaking this is new word that I firstly face/incounter in this chapter.
But when I read this chapter twice i came to understand that montage is methaphor of curriculum that enable learners to develop a link between the knowledge learned in everyday life.
Another interesting word which is used in this chapter is the word "Khudi" means to understand self and help others.
Knowing the self and understanding the self.
This is not very easy task to understand self it is quite difficult to understand self.As the forth khalifha of Islam Hazrat"Ali(R.A) say that "jis ney apney app ko pehchanna,Us ney apney Rab ko pehchanna")"
The one who understand his or her self ,understand his or her God".
Curriculum is awoken well informs, awar of every thing.
Pedagogy must relate both to existing conditions.
    Learners as critical self practitioner.
Approach for teaching is critical and creative.
Inclusive and holistic approach of learning.
